In this 45-minute presentation, principal designer Luke Palmer outlines what a furniture manufacturer can implement in design terms to alleviate the pressure on both our technical and natural resources. Carbon focussed product development will play a key role in redressing our planet's C02 balance. However, material selection is only a small piece of the puzzle, how we engineer office furniture for ‘in-life serviceability’ & ‘lifecycle extension’ is critical for carbon mitigation. The AllowMe design story will help unpack these challenges for the audience.
