You all know that our ambitions for Clippings and the change we can bring to this industry are profound. Having just celebrated our fifth year in business, we're now at a point where velocity is significantly increasing - so we're incredibly excited that Franck has joined our mission and we'll be building this next chapter together.
As CEO, Franck will be growing our organisation, advancing operations and doubling down on strategy as we begin to scale a specification and procurement experience that leads the way in bringing interior design processes online. He will report to the board of directors and will join our board as a director himself.
Franck brings a huge amount of relevant experience to Clippings, having worked in the digital space for over 25 years. He was a vice president at AOL France in its heyday, founded Sarenza - one of Europe's most successful ecommerce businesses - and was responsible for bringing the prestigious French Galeries Lafayette Group into the digital era. Most recently he brought premium fashion online as president of Style.com, which he launched and managed until the Condé Nast Group sold it to Farfetch.
We first met Franck several years ago and he's already been working to help Clippings grow as a consultant through his role with our investors C4 Ventures. He shares our frustration at the challenges facing today's design industry and our vision for using technology to improve the experience of everyone involved in realising incredible interiors.
As founders we both remain actively engaged in realising the Clippings vision. Adel will take on a new role as executive chairman of the board, while Tom remains Vice President of Brands. Franck's appointment will enable us to spend more time with our partners - including clients, design brands and investors - to achieve our shared ambitions and drive this industry forwards.
